Kshar Sutra

Kshar Sutra is a traditional Ayurvedic treatment used for certain anorectal conditions such as hemorrhoids, fistulas, and anal fissures. Rather than being a cause of these conditions, Kshar Sutra is a treatment method used to manage and treat them. The process involves using a medicated thread (Kshar Sutra) coated with herbal substances to treat the affected area.

Causes Of Kshar Sutra

Hemorrhoids: Causes: Hemorrhoids occur due to increased pressure in the veins of the rectum and anus. Factors include straining during bowel movements, sitting for long periods, chronic constipation or diarrhea, pregnancy, obesity, and aging.
Anal Fistula: Causes: An anal fistula is an abnormal connection between the anal canal and the skin around the anus. It often arises from an infected anal gland or abscess that doesn't heal properly.
Anal Fissures: Causes: Anal fissures are small tears in the lining of the anus, usually caused by passing hard stools or constipation. They can also be caused by diarrhea or anal trauma.
